Magic Island is just outside of Waikiki, in Ala Moana Beach Park with vast green lawns, coconut trees, calm waves, and the majestic view of Diamond Head. Magic Island is popular with walkers and joggers, and paddlers practicing in the distance. A beach at the end of the park with it’s beautiful sunsets is a lovely setting .
Makapu’u at the south-eastern end of Oahu. It’s rocky coastline, infinite blue waters and scenic view, is a popular destination for surfers and body-boarders. This is a public beach, but is also quiet, private and intimate. The lighthouse on the cliff adds a special charm.
Wai’alae, just a short drive past Diamond Head, creates an island-like oasis with it’s long white sandy beach, palm trees and and lawn.
Waikiki with it’s clear turquoise waters, surfers, canoes and palm trees is just a walk away from the hotels and excitement of the city! Waikiki is the most public, populated area of the island, and everyone loves watching a wedding. Duke Kahanamoku Beach, named best beach in the U.S. by Dr. Beach in 2014, is on the far west end of Waikiki Beach, fronting the Hilton Hawaiian Village is the widest beach in Waikiki.
Waimanalo and the beaches on the East Shore of the island have some of the most beautiful beaches in the world. Sherwood Forest at Waimanalo Bay Beach has miles of white sandy beach that gently slope into the Pacific ocean, wonderful views of offshore islands and a gorgeous background of the Ko’olau Mountains! Named 2015 best beach in the U.S. by Dr. Beach!
The North Shore with its numerous long, sandy, gorgeous beaches that gently slope into the ocean is paradise made in Hawaii!
Obtaining a marriage license in Hawaii
A license is required for a Marriage in the State of Hawaii. Couples can apply online by filling out a Marriage License Application. The marriage license fee is $65.00 and payment can be made online. The marriage license expires 30 days from and including the date of issuance.
The application must be finalized in person by an agent of the Department of Health. Once the license has been issued, there is no waiting period before the marriage can take place. Couples need to bring this paperwork to their wedding and present it to their Wedding Officiant. When your ceremony is complete, your wedding officiate will file your document on-line with the State of Hawaii.

Beach Wedding Permit
All beaches in Hawaii, except for military beaches, are public beaches owned by the state of Hawaii. Beach permits are required for weddings that occur within the average high tide line and the ocean. To obtain a beach permit for weddings you are required to have a General Liability Insurance policy which specifically names the state of Hawaii as an additionally named insured party on the policy.

Permits are required for beach locations regardless of the number of persons in attendance. Failure to comply can result in a ceremony being halted and fines may be issued.

It is not necessary to have a rehearsal when you are having a Hawaii wedding.
However, if you want to have a rehearsal or a private consultation we can arrange it.
There will be a $95 fee for all services involved with the rehearsal.
Holidays & Before 8:00 am Ceremonies
An additional fee of $95 for each person serving you will be added for Holidays and Before 8:00 am ceremonies.
Special Venues may require an additional fee. Please inquire.
Ceremonies outside of Honolulu will incur a $95 travel fee for each person serving you.
Beach Wedding Permit
The DLNR (Department of Land & Natural Resources) requires beach use permits for all beach weddings performed at all Hawaii beaches.

The Unity Sand Ceremony symbolizes the unity of the couple and/or the joining of their families. The couple provides two small vials of sand (some use colored sand) to represent each person’s separate lives. They each take turns pouring their sand into the main jar to represent becoming one.
There is no additional fee to incorporate this in your ceremony.
Marriage License Not Included.
Advance reservations are recommended to secure services, location, date and time desired for your event. To reserve your event, please submit the reservation form or contact us at (808) 393-8499 to discuss the details.
DEPOSIT AND PAYMENTS:
Once your desired date and time is confirmed, a 50% non-refundable deposit is required to reserve your date. Confirmation will be made once funds are received. The balance due is fourteen (14) days prior to your event.
CANCELLATIONS: Deposits are Non-Refundable. No refunds will be given on cancellations made within fourteen (14) days of event. If you cancel less than fourteen (14) days before your event, you have six (6) months to use your deposit for another date.
DELAYS and OVERTIME: Our commitment is to be at the site 15 minutes early and begin the service at the scheduled time. If the start of your event is delayed by 30 minutes or more, an overtime fee of $50.00 will be accessed. The person(s) is not obligated to remain 30 minutes past the meeting time for your delayed event. Every effort will be made to accommodate you in rescheduling. Additional costs may be incurred. No monies are returned. If the person(s) serving is willing & able to wait, each succeeding 30-minute period accrues a $50 overtime charge for each service provider.
RESERVE YOUR WEDDING ON-LINE
Gratuities are not included in our packages. If you are pleased with our service, gratuities are always appreciated and traditionally reward good service and are offered personally after the ceremony. Please let us know how we can improve if your experience was less than excellent.
